What we collect when you call, text or use this site, what we do with it, and what we never do with it.

Evergreen Chimney Experts sweeps, inspects and repairs chimneys in Seattle and across the Puget Sound region of Washington. This is what we do with your information.
What we collect
Your name, your phone number, your email address, the service address and ZIP code, the day and time you prefer, and what you tell us about your chimney, whether you send a form on this site, call us or text us. The booking form also records whether you ticked the box asking us to text you. When we do the work, we keep the service address, what we found, what we did and the invoice, so next year’s visit starts from what this year’s found.
This site has no accounts and no advertising trackers, and it does not take payments, so card numbers are never entered or stored here.
What stays on your device
If you take the 60-Second Chimney Check, your answers are kept in your own browser for the current visit, so the booking form can arrive already filled in. They are not sent to us unless you send that form, and they are erased when you close the tab. The ZIP checker on our service areas page works the same way: the answer is worked out in your browser, and the ZIP you type is not sent to us.
What we do with it
We answer you, confirm the appointment and, if you asked us to, text you about it: the confirmation, a change of time, the technician on the way. We keep the record so we can stand behind the work and for the business records the law requires. We do not sell your information or rent it. We do not pass it to lead brokers, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked a question.
Mobile information and text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. You can opt out at any time by replying "STOP". Message and data rates may apply.
You opt in by ticking the text-message box on our booking form, or by asking us to text you when you call. If you text us first, we answer in that same conversation. Messages are about your own appointment, and how many you get depends on the job. Reply STOP and we stop texting that number. Reply HELP and a person answers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The full terms are on our terms and SMS consent page.
Who else handles it
Only the services we need to run the business: Formspree, which delivers this site’s forms to our inbox; our email provider; our web host; our phone and texting provider; and Google, which serves the fonts used on this site. They handle your information only to provide that service to us. We never give your mobile number or your text messaging consent to anyone for marketing.
How to reach us
Call, text or email us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will, unless we are required to keep the record for tax.
